What this is

THE MCEDU COMMUNITY is a community-run Discord server and website. Members can claim a free community-provisioned Microsoft account on our domain (@themcedu.onmicrosoft.com) and use it to sign into Minecraft Education with friends in the community.

What an account gives you

• A personal email address on our community domain.
• Access to sign in with that account where community worlds and events are organized.
• A place to play, share codes, and join events with other members.

What this is not

• We are not affiliated with Microsoft, Mojang, Minecraft, or Minecraft Education in any way.
• We do not sell, resell, or guarantee official Minecraft Education licenses. Accounts are provisioned by the community for community play, and availability can change.
• We are not an official education institution.

Who runs it

The project is run by volunteers from the community. Moderation happens on the Discord server; the website and Discord bot are maintained by the same team. See the contact page to reach us.

Cost

Accounts and membership are free. The project is supported by volunteer work and, on the website, unobtrusive ads from Google AdSense.
