Is this official Minecraft Education?

No. This is an independent community project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft, Mojang, Minecraft, or Minecraft Education. We provide community-provisioned Microsoft accounts for community play.

What do I get when I create an account?

A personal email address on our community domain (@themcedu.onmicrosoft.com) that you can use to sign into Minecraft Education, plus access to community worlds and events organized on the Discord server.

Does it cost anything?

No. Accounts and membership are free.

Why do I need to connect Discord?

Discord sign-in is how we keep it to one account per person and deliver your login details privately. We only receive your Discord username and ID. We never post as you and never see your Discord password.

I didn't receive my password in Discord DMs

The website shows your temporary password right after creation — save it there. If your Discord DMs are closed, the message cannot arrive; open your DMs and use the details shown on the website. You can also ask for help in the Discord server's support channel.

Microsoft asks for a new password when I sign in

That is normal. The password you receive is temporary. Choose a new, strong password the first time Microsoft asks and keep it private.

Can I have more than one account?

No. One account per person (per Discord account). Usernames are first-come, first-served and cannot be transferred.

Can I sell or share my account?

No. Accounts may not be sold, shared, or traded. Accounts used that way can be disabled.

How do I delete my account or data?

Ask a staff member in the Discord server. See the privacy page for exactly what is stored and how deletion works.

Is provisioning available right now?

Account creation is in final testing. You can connect Discord and check username availability already; provisioning is switched on once testing completes. Watch the announcements channel.
